The University of Akron is hosting the Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships at Canton GlenOak High School. The men's 8K race will kick off festivities at 11 a.m. followed by the women's 6K race at noon. The Zips are in search of their first-ever men's league title after garnering runner-up finishes to Eastern Michigan at each of the last two conference championships.
